2015 News

July 26, 2015 - Salt Spring Valley

What a great weekend for fishing!
We had nineteen anglers come out to Salt Spring Valley Reservoir for the sixth tournament of the 2015 season. The weather was perfect and the fishing was pretty decent too.

Scott Rouhier found a good jig bite in the last hour of the day and took the first place money with a solid limit good for 16.28 pounds. Congrats Scott!
Second place went to Mitch Teman with a limit at 11.29 pounds. Mitch got his fish on a shakey head, with a beaver trailer, and a frog.
Third place and big fish honors went to Oscar Baeza with 10.96 pounds for his best five. Oscar also took advantage of the jig. His big fish went 3.98 pound.

Thanks everyone who came out to fish. See you next month at Middle River!
